Who it suits
Cards puts each job, project or entry in its own bordered box, which makes a page of short, separate pieces of work easy to scan. It suits freelancers, designers, consultants, event and project-based workers, and anyone whose history is a series of engagements rather than a few long jobs.
How the layout works
- A header with name, headline, contact and an optional photo.
- Each role or project shown as a separate box in one column.
- Wine-red accent, sans type and comfortable spacing.
- One column; boxes use more space than plain lists.
ATS notes
Cards stays in one column and the text is real text, but the boxes are styled containers, and Folio tags it Creative. Use clear headings inside each box so the content reads logically without the borders.
When to pick something else
You have many bullets per role; boxes use extra space and you will fit fewer lines. Choose Classic or Compact.
Tips for filling it in
- Give each box a title, client or context line, and two or three bullets.
- Group project work by theme or client, most relevant first.
- Keep dates consistent so the page does not look scattered.
