ATS-safe template

Brief resume template

A senior one-page resume template: short summary, then the work, in one column. ATS-friendly, with a filled-in example.

Free to write and edit. You pay only when you download.

The Brief layout filled with sample data for a fictional person. Your own details replace it in the editor.

Who it suits

Brief is for dense careers that should stay on one page: project managers, operations leads, financial analysts and customer-success managers. A short summary strip sits under the name, then experience leads the rest, with generous whitespace so the page does not feel cramped.

How the layout works

  • One column with a large name and contact line.
  • A short highlighted summary strip under the header.
  • Experience and the remaining sections in reading order.
  • Ink accent and comfortable spacing; no photo by default.

ATS notes

Brief is labelled ATS-safe: one column of real text with no tables or text boxes. The summary strip is styled text, not an image.

When to pick something else

You are early in your career and need education and projects first. Campus or Starter fit that better.

Tips for filling it in

  1. Keep the summary to three or four lines; let the jobs carry proof.
  2. Cut older roles to a title and dates before shrinking type.
  3. Use plain headings so a parser can recognise them.

Brief template questions

Who is Brief for?

People with enough experience to fill a page honestly, who still want a portal-safe one-column layout.

Can I hide the summary strip?

Clear the summary field and the strip disappears; the rest of the page stays the same.
